It is a bit shorter as you can see in the pictures, but the width of the blade is the same and the wooden handle is so comfortable and has a nice weight in your hand. I live in Colorado where it's super dry, so I will be oiling the handle with butcher block oil to keep it smooth and crack-free. Definitely do not put this in your dishwasher! Two of the edges on the scraper are beveled so they are wicked sharp and cut through dough very easily. It does have ruler markings around the edges which is helpful if I'm trying to roll something out to a particular thickness, but what I appreciate more is the measurement equivalent table on the back. SO handy!”

Nice scraper, but the extras don't add much

“This has some tables with measurement conversions etched onto its surface, and ruler marks etched on two of its edges. Those are nice, but it's not clear how useful they are. You're not really going to grab this just to look up a conversion, or measure an item; if you're using it as a scraper, the tables will be covered with dough residue. But if you ignore the markings, this is a nice scraper. The wood handle is comfortable to grip. It's made of a single piece of wood, rather than two pieces riveted together, which means that it should last roughly forever. The blade is stiff and sturdy. Two of the edges are chiseled, which is great both for lifting dough and for cleaning up your workspace after you're done. This is replacing a motley collection of other scrapers (both metal and plastic) that I've had around for a while. So my life will get a little simpler, and a little better, for not a lot of money. That sounds like a win to me. And if I ever *do* need a small ruler, I know just where to find one. :^D”
